   Far-right Dutch leader Geert Wilders has suffered a major setback in forming a governing coalition after a key potential partner ruled itself out, uncomfortable with his extreme views.

   Mr Wilders needs the backing of 76 MPs for a working majority.

   But the NSC and its popular leader Pieter Omtzigt said it did not see a way of working with the PVV unless it clarified the more extreme parts of its manifesto.
