   After a couple of days without being able to go out for a walk, I finally hung out with my new baby magpie friend this evening.

   They seemed a bit scared of me, so I left and came back after a little later, and they seemed a bit more comfortable (though when Dad returned with dinner, a pair of wattlebirds decided it was time to make a fuss about territory)
