@BowsacNoodle @Billy_Hughes @FourOh-LLC You don't need much power to run a 120 lb FW DIAB setup though. If they end up getting their way they'll need a bunch, and you can synthesize H2 with power and water so you can have them just operate sans hassle. I'm not finding the thing I'm thinking of, supposedly there's a buyable hybrid system where if combines batt power and h2 in a ready-made nacelle so OEMs can fiddle with the idea and begin integration. Part of the trouble of hearing this secondhand at work, I lose the details.
Still iffy but they're willing to throw a LOT of money at this stuff, the industry is going above and beyond in the hopes of being allowed to self-regulate. Cessna's somehow able to sell half million dollar shitcans on backorder, and dassault's still in business so money obviously ain't worth as much in the industry as it is in every other
