The biggest laugh for me in the giant dust-up around OpenAI and Sam Altman this weekend is that everyone is running around talking about AGI and mentioning it in stories as if it's a real bright line thing that exists in the world, like the electric motor; not a fiction used as a narrative device in stories, like vampires.
