   Cat is now in my bathroom and unfortunately, I am quite scratched. This is unusual; I normally escape wound-free. But he sprang forth as I opened the trap and bounced around the bathroom walls and on/off me.

   Usually, I open the trap, and the kitty cowers at the back until I'm clear of the bathroom.

   NOT TODAY!

   Anyway, cat now hiding in carrier (better spot), food & water there if he needs it. Scratches covered in antiseptic, and I'll repeat before I go to bed 🤦
