   Polar bear of Kaktovik, Alaska. Yes, that is the bone remains of a whale behind the bear. For those who do not know, the Indigenous folks of Alaska are allowed to harvest whales. Photos by Melvin Kayotuk. Another bucket list item for me is to make it up north during whaling season as it is such a grand celebration.
