A three panel cartoon by Tom Gauld. In the first panel, there are two witches cooking in a cauldron. One is stirring it, the other one is adding ingredients and saying: "Eye of newt, toe of frog, wing of bat..." She continues "offscreen" in the second panel, where the viewpoint has shifted to one side: "head of garlic, pinch of sumac, glug of walnut oil, leaf of kale, tablespoon of pomegranate molasses, cup of polenta, shake of smoked paprika..." In the third panel, a black bird on a tree stump says to a black cat: "Things were a lot simpler around here before they got that Ottolenghi cookbook."
