I didn't post this when it first showed up recording the 11 month year here.
To summarize, an absolutely not popular person with less than 500 followers is in the top 1% of mastodon.social users, and even has their own exclusive hashtag apparently (i just looked).
My purpose of creating the hashtag is for people's content that is exclusively on mastodon and nowhere else unless it's an old photo from the past then it might exist elsewhere of course.
I'd like to see the fediverse celebrate this year's #juneteenth by lifting up Black voices, and making Black people feel more welcome here.
To people who feel really strongly about quote boosts, putting content warnings on people's lived experience, and denying all the evidence of racism being prevalent here, maybe take a break for just one day.
Remember whether you're surrounded by loved ones, chosen family, or celebrating in your own unique way, you are an integral part of our community. Your presence and your journey are valued and celebrated here.
To those in the trans community, and anyone who needs a shoulder to lean on, know that you are not alone. This time of year can bring mixed emotions, and it's okay to seek support and connection. Your feelings are valid, and there's strength in reaching out for help.

So it was unlikely that I would come to the Right at all, and doubly so because my primary issue was and is the environment.
I love my critters, trees, grasslands, bayous, lakes, streams, and even the I-45 killing grounds just a few miles south of here.
To me it became clear that environmentalists needed more realistic plans based on actual needs of ordinary people instead of vandalizing another bulldozer.
For the last year I've been semi-daily posting "What I'm Listening To Today" links in this thread:

The thread is now so long it is increasingly breaking Mastodon, so I am making a new thread, starting here.
To recap, here's the entirety of the year-one thread in the most impractical possible format: A YouTube playlist containing 246 songs and running for just over 47 hours:
