Victory!
Sámi indigenous rights protesters in Oslo declare they achieved their demands, after a meeting Prime Minister yesterday evening resulted in the PM this morning explicitly acknowledging that what remains happening at Fosen "is a human rights violation that we can not live with",
so Sámi human rights activists today declared they will hold a united sit-down outside the Royal Palace during the weekly King-in-Council session (Government meets with the King for decisions) as well as a concert and that ends their blockades which have been increasingly shutting down the State over the recent week.
Vid 1: Activists after meeting PM yesterday evening, decided to speak before the PM for 1 minute then left. Then PM blah-blahd 8 minutes.
Vid 2: PM this morning saying "it is a human rights violation that we can not live with", as part of long-winded promises of high priority efforts to end those ASAP.
Vid 3: Ella Marie declaring because Govt finally apologized and acknowledged, the work can finally start, so "today we lift the blockades. [...] It has been tough, we've been dispersed at up to 10 Ministries, but today we'll sit together [at Palace] for the first time during our last day of action".
Vid 4: Snippets from final manifestation outside Palace and Parliament. "Show Sámi Spirit!"
