   Conversation with my grandson (4) yesterday.

   Me: Are you dependent or independent?

   Him (no hesitation): Dependent.

   Me: Who are you dependent on?

   Him: Myself.

   Compared to his two older sisters, he is by far the most independent. One of his first long sentences was "I can do it
