   Thinking of ducks and food, I suddenly remembered this Chinese restaurant "Good Friends" on Berlin's Kantstraße, which always had Peking ducks in the window.

   When I was a kid, it always gave me a creepy fascination, seeing them, when we walked by.

   One day, my Grandparents told me that this had been one of the very few restaurants in the years after the war and during the blockade, where you could eat without coupons.
