   @koteisaev This is a common misunderstanding, the #GNU GPL is absolutely designed to be used for commercial software. When we started the GNU project, one of the first ways to fund things was selling copies of GNU Emacs on tape. https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/selling.en.html

   It is one of the core software freedoms, the right to use the program for any purpose.
