   They called my home the Pleasure Planet.

   They, the tourists, our tourism board, those who worked at the resorts.

   Just about everyone worked at the resorts.

   Nobody had to work of course, but it was the easiest way to encounter the vast variety of folks from across the galaxy, usually with a singular goal, so like many, I didn't meet my first alien until I was an adult.

   In a way it was nice to have entire communities the visitors left alone.
