   The world, or at least my corner of it, has been a ball of entropy hurtling toward shitshow since I was born in 1981, but at least I got to read Calvin and Hobbes in the paper every day as a kid.

   I remember reading this one and feeling my lil heart swell, and I just saw it today and felt the same way. It's a rare talent that can speak to the deep inner worlds of both children and adults. Bill Watterson, Hayao Miyazaki, and who else?
