For those who don't know me, I'm Alexis, aka Liliths_Fane on Twitch. For the last two and a half years I have used my platform to keep myself and 3 other chronically ill, disabled, trans girls housed and fed. When I was diagnosed with Diabetes last summer and was forced to stop streaming for a while, my partner, Nae, stepped up, found work, and kept us afloat for as long she could. She's no longer able to walk unassisted due to arthritis, and so she had to quit doing that. The two of us started running UberEats 2 months ago, her driving as it was her car, and me getting out and picking up or delivering the orders. However, the car just gave out on us this week. It had a lot of problems left over from when her dad was driving it, and the heat of this summer, combined with the increased use of the car accelerated those issues, far faster than we expected. Due to our households collective disabilities and illness, we cannot find regular employment through typical jobs, and we don't have the education or resume to get the types of jobs that we would be able to do in our conditions. So, we need a car again, it's the only way to support our household. With some luck Nae's family made sure we had enough money to get through the next week or so, but if we can't get back to work soon, we're not sure what we are gonna do. We need at least 2k to put down a down payment on a car we could reasonably finance.
