Masto etiquette question about quotes/links.
When I copy paste the link to a toot (to emulate a quote from the hell site) but not because I want to criticize the author, to the contrary I want to boost their message but add e.g. a content warning.
Is it more respectful to mention the original author so they know I quoted them?
Or stay silent so they don't get dragged in discussions in my timeline? (if someone wants to discuss with them, they can always mention them or go answer to the original toot)
Boost welcome if you don't have the answer yourself!
