   Snopes says the santa hung on a cross is a “legend”, then they “cite” (an Amazon affiliate link) to a BOOK that MENTIONS the display, and they leave it at that.

   “Truth or fiction” pastes WITHOUT ATTRIBUTION this nugget of truth, then they give a (dead) link to the website of an "artist" (*I'm still unclear whether the guy actually made the display or just took a photograph of it)

   But even Mr. Yoshi's website (on The Internet Archive) doesn't have the full resolution image! I had to grab that [attached] off an actual NEWS SITE that did a write-up about it (the very writeup that ToF poached without attribution)—
