Hubble view of a supernova remnant. The center of the image contains a dense pink cloud, shaped like a keyhole. Within this keyhole, there is a dark spot, composed of even denser gas. Outside of this cloud of gas is a ring of dense pink that contains brighter pink clumps of glowing gas, which look like pearls on a necklace. Above and below the ring, are very faint red rings of gas and dust, forming a figure-eight pattern. There are several bright stars, two of which show a four-pronged diffraction pattern. Several other stars are strewn throughout the image.

Here is a #Hubble image of the SN 1987A remnant. We see the same faint, hourglass-shaped rings, pearl necklace-like inner ring of clumps of gas and keyhole shape in the center. What we don't see in this visible-light view are a lot of the other structures in the inner ring that we see with JWST's infrared eyes.
