Fedibird to be maintained as a fork

The idea is to make it possible to set up a server with Fedibird functionality, or to switch from Mastodon to Fedibird.
The source code is public, and you can use it, but it's not maintained in a way that allows for maintenance, and it's hard to isolate features, and it's not practical to update. There was no documentation.
So, I announced that I was going to do it, and opened a support channel.

@zoracon I seem to recall @quinn telling the story of her immigration to Luxembourg to be with her partner. They needed to supply proof of a long-term partnership, but having used Disappearing Messages, and having had a long-distance relationship, there was very little actual documentation.
So they asked their friends to vouch for them, and got a bunch of very cute letters attesting their love for each other to hand in to the immigration authorities.
