The whole conversation around #SOTM this year seems to be LGBT people saying "So what are we going to do in order to prevent hosting SOTM someplace where a significant number of #OpenStreetMap members can't legally attend due to an ongoing genocide/democide" and a lot of cishet people just assuming that's an ask to never host in South America or Africa somehow...
