   @gerrymcgovern @breadandcircuses Data centers in 2022 were responsible for 1.0 to 1.3% of electricity, of which 0.4% was for cryptocurrency mining.

   The rate of electricity growth for data centers from 2015 to 2022 was between 2.6 and 7.9%/year, although CO2 growth from data centers was lower than that.
