something to soothe people's fears though- this can only leak data that passes the vector registers, so if it never enters them via avx instructions then it cannot be leaked. glibc loads avx-optimised string functions by default which means almost anything is probably leaked, but musl doesn't have such optimisations so no strcpy/whatever functions will leak any data on these cpus, the impact is much lower.
(the one benefit to less optimisation, haha)
