   I'm debating taking off animal breeds on animal profiles for any animal that isn't purebred. Hear me out.
   
   I am the animal professional. I'm the 'professional' naming these dog breeds. I do my absolute best, going off of my knowledge of genetics and what is common in this area.
   
   From the dogs that have been DNA tested, I have accurately ID'd at least 1 dog breed in roughly 80% of them. That doesn't mean that breed made up most of the DNA. And when it came to guessing multiple breeds or the majority breed, I was woefully inaccurate.
   
   I'm worried the breed labeling is creating preconceived notions about these dogs, and people are adopting these dogs with certain expectations and not looking at the individual dog
