The ring gear rolled over the floor, falls over, then frequency of rotation (precession?) increases as it loses energy. Makes a cool sound.

   Here's a video of it rolled on the floor; very satisfying. I got the error message "cannot upload a video to a post with images" which seems odd to me but whatever. It draws a nautilus shape, a spiraling toroid disappearing into a circle.
