Ring gear laying on it's box, my hand for scale. It's 13+ inches across. It's "all hole", the gear proper is 5/8" thick.

This thing did not cost enough money. $20 retail, delivered to the store. I could have got it for $13 fro rockauto.com. Obviously someone isn't getting paid enough.
It's not very precise, but good enough for my needs. Maybe I overestimate labor required [fabricated from a long strip cut and rolled into a circle; not cast like The Old Days), but that would be unusual.
I'm researching making a turret clock.
