@chargrille - Jun 11,2018 The white supremacists' target for US "cleansing" is not going to be Jews. It is Muslims, Hispanics (starting with immigrants), & black Americans. The increasing anti-immigrant rhetoric is a known proxy for increasing prejudice, dehumanization & attacks on native-born minorities. @chargrille That degree of prejudice vs these groups is widely prevalent in US rn, & has been building for past 20 yrs. GOP has been stoking it, using it to scapegoat minorities & immigrants in face of huge growth in the lumpenproletariat thanks to corporate offshoring, mechanization, etc. @chargrille Jews would come later. No one is saying this *is* the Holocaust atm, so I'm not sure why you feel this is insulting to the memory of Jewish people. They're saying this is the method by which we got to the Holocaust & let's not even start down that road. That honors the dead. @chargrille Stephen Miller is very informed about the history of the Holocaust & Third Reich. It's no accident that they're telling people their kids have been taken to bathe them, or that they're putting YELLOW bracelets on the parents. It's psychological warfare. Just as the Nazis used. @chargrille - Jun 11,2018 The prejudices are there: About half of all Americans think that Muslims are "a problem" or "anti-American." 70% of Republicans (wrongly) think Islam is more likely to encourage violence than other religions. Only 25% of US thought that after 9/11. Now 41% do.
