   @rcz and let's do one more thing and remove the specific person from this, as we there are going to be a lot of uncomfortable hypotheticals in this thread, I'm sure.

   So let' say there is a person called Amal. She has been assigned female at birth, and since then has participated in sports all her life, with considerable success.

   When she's twentysomething, suddenly there's a test showing the result you mention.

   What gender is she, in your opinion?

   So, we call it out specifically in the ActivityPub spec: people who are in an angry cloud get even angrier when they find out that they have been blocked.

   People sometimes take a block as a challenge to continue abusing the blocker, following them across platforms and sometimes into real life.

   Which is why we recommend not to federate `Block` activities.

   @jdp23 @mjf_pro @gotosocial @darnell @mekkaokereke @admin @feditips RSS of what I post publicly is not a violation of my privacy.

   Peeping on what I read, when I read it and where I read it, it is. Mastodon does not leak any of these.

   The same applies to my list of contacts or the hashtags I follow. All these are private.

   They may guess what hashtags and people I follow from the ones I insert in my public posts, but they cannot know for sure.

   So, all-in-all, #privacy in #Mastodon is actually pretty good for a micro-blogging social media IMHO.
