I find deliciously ironic that when the lawyers who brought the action asked for 230 million dollars in legal fees, the defendants said no, that's too much, but 65 million would be about right.
So the people who just gave back a ton of money because they had taken too much, are complaining the lawyers are taking too much. But they're only complaining to reduce amt from 230 to 65 because they know how the game is played 🤣
Everybody's in on the grift 🤣
It ain't their $, it's shareholder money 💰
The plucked chicken running through the snow has been on my mind. It's not right.
So I made her a Christmas jumper and a Santa hat. This is, I am sure everyone can agree, MUCH more appropriate.
What could possibly go wrong:
In the wake of a drubbing in the Euro-elections, President Macron has dissolved the French Parliament & called an election...
Looks like Macron is gambling that the shock of the Right's success in the EU elections, will galvanise the centre & left to support his 'centrist' party...
Of course, that may not happen & he may head towards to period of 'cohabitation' which will further normalise there far right.
So do you feel lucky Emmanuel?
The left is really not going to like it, but minorities are in fact disenfranchised by being a) predominantly the ones arrested for felonies and b) because this country allows white people to carry around guns as a right, and then runs Jim Crow laws to keep minorities in a special underclass that doesn't have that right.
So, on top of the state bias in violence against minorities, the state promotes a more personal violence against minorities.
@actuallyautistic Okay, folks... riddle me this.
When my ex-wife was glaring at me, I did not see the glare, and this caused us a whole bunch of disputes over the years.
The thing is, however, that if you put pictures of people in front of me and you ask about how they feel, I'm going to get it right.
So I'm confused.
Are there autistic people who can pass the "tell me what this person is feeling?" test on the basis of pictures, but fail to notice the feelings displayed on folks' faces when they are involved in a situation with those folks?
Like... if they are being tested in a clam setting, they can do it. (In a clam setting, at the bottom of the sea. Har... har... I meant a calm setting.)
But if they are in a possibly anxiety-inducing situation, the ability goes out the window?
