Also worth noting is that the PleromaBE already supports scrobbling. If you start submitting things to the POST /api/v1/pleroma/scrobble endpoint on your local instance, I’ll see it. The submission should be in JSON, and should be shaped like this.
I also wrote a PR for web-scrobbler that will natively submit to this API[1], and a Last.fm –> fedi shell script that’s supposed to operate on a cron job.[2]
