As a white dude, this made me chuckle because I know what you mean. The sad fact is that, nowadays, most people whose profile pic looks like mine are toxic online to people whose profile pic looks like yours. It’s not the world idealistic 16-year old me envisioned as I confronted my dad about racism and brought a black friend home partly to piss him off. (Happy ending: He lost the racism as he got older!)
