   Special extra shout out to my instance host @jaz - he the team here at toot.wales have done an amazing job of offering a reliable and safe home.

   It's been an amazing experiment in terms of wrestling control back control of our media from corporate america, and I feel lucky and honored to be a part of it.

   @bri_seven Again this is indicative of Pig Empire attempts to change and narrow the definition of fascism every single waking moment since the Cold War started because if it isn't "funny moustache" and "the literal Nazi Party" you might get around to noticing Western society was incorporating a lot of fascist ideology and practices at home.

   It's not just Snopes, it's the whole fucking capitalist/Western world doing this shit. For decades.

   #TikTok ban and social media "safety" initiatives: I'm a survivor of CSA, multiple offenders.

   90% of the abuse I experienced predated the WWW. If you think keeping kids off socials keeps them safe, I've got a bridge you might like.

   This feels like Stranger Danger.2, polished up to reflect all the blame away from the fathers like mine and 65% of other victims whose abuse starts at home.

   It's amazing how their answer to our pain is always to take away more of our power.

   If you are sick at all, stay home.

   It's not just #COVID. If you have the #flu, stay home. If you have a #CommonCold, stay home.

   It's a #morality statement. If you are sick, do not transmit that illness to the community. If you are sick, you will recover faster if you stay home and rest. Staying home is a win-win-win.

   Of course, from that #morality statement, we need to create social structures that allow you to stay home when sick. (Sick leave is a win-win, better for both the individual and the community.)
