When the winter morning light hits Mt. Fuji, the mountain shines pink it is called Beni-Fuji in Japan. This view can only be seen in the morning when the air is clear and with a nice sunrise, so it is said to be a very good omen to see the Beni-Fuji. This photo was taken from an old local street in Fujiyoshida City on the morning when I was able to see the Beni-Fuji for the first time. It was truly a beautiful moment
