   Now things have changed, but it definitely was a loss leader when they built out a significant part of their network a decade ago.

   Do you know how many billions they spent building it? (I don't, honest question, but it's hard to quantify with the labor to make agreements, power purchasing and dev of hardware and manufacturing as well.)

   Hi fedi. My instance, udongein.xyz will be closed in a few month

   So I need a place to move. It may be Pleroma/Akkoma but at his moment I'm ready to test some *key instances.

   What do I want? I want an instance accessible from Ukraine. I don't want it to have lots of instance blocks. But it should block trolls that annoys people.

   Administration should be fine with me posting in English/Ukrainian/Russian.

   Of course it should have a good custom emoji policy (gonna flood your instce with catboys).

   I would like to post cute pictures and would like to be at the instance with less storage limits per user (ideally no limits like it was here).

   And of course it shouldn't be an instance that's going to close in a few months. I don't like moving instances. Especially when I can't move my message history and repost that cool post from 3 years ago.

   Do you have any recommendations?

   @Suiseiseki He's wrong about it Linux not being the correct term for Linux, but that's a whole seperate argument that's already been fought and won decades ago.

   Do you install microcode updates onto your system?
