   The global hyper-industrial economy,
   the interest in insidious business practices dependent on privacy violation,
   the disinterest in building readily repaired products in order to better society
   the distortion of the expectation of what life is: refocusing it on the ability to consume,
   the explicit interest in eliminating cultural and religious rules to provide more custom for immoral industries like pornography,
   the slow death of the Master-&-Apprentice relationship that previously allowed measurable meaning & experience to the lives of young people,
   the targeted extinction of the self-sustaining community,
   the consequences of shareholder dividend maximization on corporate action,
   the (antithetical-to-life,) monopolization interests that defy the archaic diverse & renewable business interests of self-sustaining communities who depend only on limited trade; cultural items, luxuries and light metals.
   
   
   A corporation can be made to conform to these things, principally by looking at the gentry-managed workshops that were once crewed by the freemen of an estate in return for financial compensation rather than land rights, and attempting to replicate them with consideration for the modern situation (like through protectionism.)
   IIRC Henry Ford did a lot of this sort of thing, but I'm not *especially* familiar with him, except that his efforts to better the lives of his workers was sabotaged by the Dodge car company.
   
   They've become predatory on populations as a consequence of industrialism & the shift from needing local workmen who are healthy and produce healthy offspring capable of working, to being able to import the chaff of other regions and essentially work them to death in unlimited supply as eternal renters, whilst actively defenestrating culture. Previously I think it was not the majority, but the minority who were able to do this due to the inherent requirement of laborers to be highly skilled in order to produce quality and consistent products, and almost all of them existed in cities that essentially trapped the skills-deprived refuse of society and killed them with plague.
