My #Robin friends Hazel (first Robin) and Hedgy (second Robin) this morning. I didn't see Hazel at all yesterday. Hedgy is still feeding the fledglings, but Hazel now eats all the food I give her, which means she's probably ready for her second nest. The 3 fledglings are getting big now and are able to fly well. My #Robin friends Hedgy and Hazel feeding their 10-day old chicks. They've done very well - last year none of the Robin chicks of my tame Robins made it past day 9, largely due to the exceptionally dry weather - food was scarce for both the small birds and for their predators. Hope they can make it through the next few days, when they'll be ready to leave the nest!
