Getting ready for evening fire pit time with a friend - a perfect end to my day off and the solemnity of Saint Joseph

Two Sunday Masses, our second first Holy Communion celebration, and a couple of afternoon visits to two homebound church ladies. As a bonus, one of them even gave me a piece of candy!

It's awesome to be a priest.

In my experience, the run-up to Holy week and Easter is when church leaders, especially priests, experience the most attacks of the devil. Division in the community, staff issues, maintenance problems, and other crisis surface without fail about now.

Please pray for priests.
