My brother took me out to eat for Chinese today. I also bought a new pair of shoes for work. My old work shoes were starting to come apart in places and the bottoms were worn thin and losing grip. And in my line of work, I need shoes with grip.

During a break at work, this girl could have sat anywhere they wanted to in the lobby but they chose to sit with me. I wish I could have talked to her but a language barrier inhibited that, due to her English being as limited as my Spanish. While I used what Spanish I knew, we mostly sat in silence. I ended up being late coming off break, too. Oops.

Got sent home early from work tonight, so I'm using the extra time to make bread since my current loaf is nearly gone.

I've a feeling this loaf won't turn out as well as the last ones, but that's okay. It will be good either way.
