I just wanted to share that yesterday my younger kid and I went to Licensing to get them an ID card
and the guy at the counter said, what do you want your gender to be on the card?
and the kid said nonbinary
and there was a little form to sign
and then they issued the card
it was that simple
and I haven't seen the kid that happy in yoinks
it can be that easy if we all try to be respectful of one another
