@siracusa @jimmyjamesuk This is a well-known longstanding problem, even with local backups. I’ve been using Time Machine since it was introduced in 10.5, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a backup drive make it more than three years or so, often much less. Most recently, I had to reformat a backup drive on Sunday. Never seen anything equivalent with SD or CCC.

Is there way to force the iOS Files app to sync with iCloud? I keep getting folders filled with undownloadable stubs for files deleted on the Mac a month ago. Seems like I have to tap the stubs individually do delete them.
