At the start of December i got a Pfizer COVID booster. It has fucked me up. Ever since then i have not had one day of getting back to baseline. Chest pain, tachycardia, brain fog, vertigo, tinnitus, nausea, belly ache, swollen lymph nodes.

It has set me back months, if not years.

The worst of it is that i had zero reactions to Novovax last year. And i have had bad reactions to Pfizer before.

But Switzerland has failed to secure Novovax ever since 2023.

Vaccinations are great, they saved a lot of lives.

But people who had bad reactions before should not have to vaccinate.

But when almost no one else continues to vaccinate, i felt like i needed to take the risk.

And my body is paying the price.

Let the record show: Almost three months on and i am still struggling. I am still miles away from the baseline that i had reached before the covid vaccination that has fucked me up.

It is an absurd situation, that i as someone who has always had strong adverse reactions to mrna vaccines, felt pressured into getting it, because almost everyone else stopped getting them.

"Chronic pain is a teacher, though a cruel one. It forces slowness. It demands attention. It collapses the capitalist timeline that says every minute must be monetized. In this way, the disabled and the chronically ill embody a radical politics of time.
    [...]
The left often talks about revolution in terms of power, but rarely in terms of tenderness.

Yet no revolution will last if it does not make room for the fragile, the slow, the wounded."

      Research updates, June 10
      from Miles W. Griffis
Three recent studies show the harmful effects of misdiagnosis for chronic diseases and conditions. The first, a meta-analysis in Psychological Bulletin of 151 studies encompassing 11 diseases (including Long COVID) and over 11,000 participants, found that medical gaslighting led to adverse impacts including diagnostic delay and emotional stress.
