This is how you break Mastodon. Last night I lost around 900 followers from mastodon.social which is @Gargron 's main instance. There is not a single connection left. If you lose them all in one night, this was a server-wide ban. None of my followers on this instance will see my posts.

Update:
The current theory is that *I* blocked mastodon.social which then means that this instance will go through all of their users and remove the follow from each one of them. for i=1, ++ ...
