@feditips ... "be careful not to press it" sounds like it will cause a problem, when in fact why wouldn't you want a copy of your data for yourself? It's your data, and it will go away if that server fails.

There's a zombie mastodon on the loose, folks: looks like mstdn party's admin has gone AWOL, and the trolls are beginning to take over.

It is uncertain what the future of that server is, but we currently have them on silence and *strongly* advise users there to migrate while they can.

If you put "mstdn.party" in the (web) search bar, you should be able to look through it and find your follows there. Let them know this is happening - they're not going to get an announcement from *their* admin.
