I’ve promised my son that we will build a gaming/streaming computer for his birthday coming up next year.

Heaven help me but I haven’t built a computer from scratch ever. I used to fuck around switching out drives and adding cards though, but it’s been so long I have no clue where to start.

I think my budget is max around $1K-ish but less is more better for my wallet. ;-)

Help a dude out. What am I looking for and from where?

What is something positive you’re looking forward to this weekend?

For me I’m just happy to get some time to sit and watch the birds. Read a book, drink some tea, have little food treats. Just try to enjoy the moment.

I *had* to reclaim some yard so sacrificed the gourds for the pumpkins. For a “mixed gourd” pack I must’ve just been horribly unlucky and got mostly all one variety.
