For anyone interested, another story about how business genius Elon Musk ruined Twitter.

“Many of the employees on the Blue team came to view the project as pointless at best and, at worst, something that could undermine trust. If everyone could be verified, then no one would truly be verified.”
“I can tell you’re going to be around for a while, so let me tell you something,” Ms. Balajadia said to Ms. Crawford. “Elon is special in this world. It is our job to protect him and make sure what he wants to have happen, happens. We need to protect the mission.”
Some of you may remember (or perhaps they still exist in some misguided schools) wooden paddles on which some fiendish teacher had written “Board of education”. I saw two (and felt one) during my days at Pleasantville Elementary in Pennsylvania.
I was paddled for forgetting a line in my recitation of the “Gettysburg Address”.
The teacher was a sociopath who never should have been allowed near a classroom.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Spending by recently resigned University of Florida President Ben Sasse is coming under scrutiny after the student-run newspaper found that he awarded secretive consulting contracts and gave high-paying jobs to former members of his U.S. Senate staff and Republican allies — actions that he defended Friday.
“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. tried to meet with Kamala Harris to discuss Cabinet job Harris has rebuffed the offer of an endorsement, while Kennedy has also had conversations with Republican nominee Donald Trump about a role in his administration.”
“He was so adamant that it had happened that he threatened to sue The New York Times for reporting that the story was untrue, then posted on his social media site that there were “‘Logs,’ Maintenance Records, and Witnesses” to back up his account.”
The Times lawyers must be drooling at the prospect of a suit. Trump would lose in ten minutes.
“Donald Trump suggested in a news conference Thursday that he is open to curbing access to abortion pills through federal regulations, declining to rule out a sweeping move that some antiabortion allies have advocated.”
“Elon Musk’s X accused of bias after pro-Harris accounts labeled as ‘spam’ A string of incidents raises questions about whether X is restricting accounts that oppose Musk’s political views, or just mishandling a rush of political speech.”
Ooooh, that’s a tough one! Which could it be?
Let’s ask the news outlets that refuse to leave X! They’re champions of freedom and democracy!
“I desperately need advertisers to save my dying Nazi-riddled social media platform. Therefore, I will sue them after telling them to go f**k themselves. Why do I do these things? Because I am Elon, business genius!!”
An important story on more highly suspect Trump dealings. Barr, Liu and Wray, among many others, should be held to account (but of course probably won’t be).

“A key theory investigators pursued, based on intelligence and on international money transfers, was that Trump was willing to provide the funds to his campaign in October 2016 because he expected to be repaid by Sisi, according to people familiar with the probe.”
“Historic flood of cash pours into Harris campaign and allied groups Democrats reported raising more than $250 million since Biden announced he was leaving the presidential race and endorsed Harris.”
