Already, it's easy to see the differences between #ROH and #AEW - not least because the former has freedom from network pressures, nice presentation, features arguably the best commentary duo in the business for putting over in-ring talent every single moment, a strong in-ring product in general, and respite from backstage politicking of dominant major names and EVPs. #RingOfHonor may offer a refreshing, positive alternative from the dark clouds currently lingering over #AllEliteWrestling.
Reports of a rather bad take from Britt Baker on the infamous #AEWAllOut media scrum featuring #CMPunk's overdue response to months of gaslighting and wrongful allegations about him getting Colt Cabana demoted. The idea that people should simply bury abuse - particularly from management - for the good of the corporation, is awful (and pretty absurd when we're talking about a star who made his name for literally being a punk and wearing his heart on his sleeve).
Jade Cargill's #AEWRevolution challenger will surely be confirmed on tonight's #AEWDynamite. Anything less than a #MercedesMone reveal (beautiful expanding the women's division's "nWo" storyline) will be a disappointment at this point, as it'd be a step down for Britt Baker - yes, she'd endeavour to add the TBS belt to her list of titles that already includes The Owen and the world championship, but it would feel like a demotion when she's set to eventually betray Jamie Hayter anyway.
@RussStevens@WrestlingFusion@Evol@bunnieSlaughter I mean, for the love of all things holy, the idea that any one wrestler needs to be "more grateful" to management is awful, and utterly politically ignorant - even without laughably absurd claims that the lives of EVPs or anyone else have been recklessly allowed to "fall to ruin." There is no desire to receive facts of any broader context if it might be in opposition to your dogma.
@RussStevens@WrestlingFusion@Evol@bunnieSlaughter Guessing you didn't listen to it then, or care in any way about the broader political context for the industry of wrestlers as a whole at the mercy of management at all. Ironically literally referenced this line of defence in a more recent episode - "Oh I know people in the industry which I'll try and use to back up my personal petty beefs and tribalism": https://www.spreaker.com/user/16534615/industrial-dispute-4
It's simple. If you're coming on here and going out your way to post abuse at this account without exposing yourself to actual reporting on the #CMPunk situation, you'll have to be blocked. Tired of constant unprovoked abuse for having a position on this that doesn't match a popular narrative. Swear some of these people just trawl the Fediverse for anyone mentioning Punk in a positive context. Similar to how Sean Ross Sapp searches for his own name on Twitter. Unhealthy and embarrassingly grim.
Just realised there are some accounts on here still posting at Left Fist constantly in complete opposition to the facts about the Punk/Elite situation, repeatedly making some really asinine and impolite remarks...then complaining about a "toxic" culture in wrestling. It clearly demonstrates their obstinateness and ignorance in refusing to even click on a single Left Fist link that's examined the entire situation from a political perspective bigger than just "I love the Elite." Hey, I did too.
