I try to share mostly positive things here because life is challenging enough, however yesterday I paid $6 AUD each for two tins of sardines. This is what I found #disappointment

Had to read the back of the box to realise they were skinless & boneless, but that there were only four in the tin was a hidden surprise. 🫢🤷♀️

Jewish Council calls on the Australian PM to rescind it's invitation to Isaac Herzog - implicated in Genocide:

The Jewish Council of Australia has expressed outrage that the Albanese Government would fuel the flames of division by inviting Herzog to visit Australia, warning that his trip is completely inappropriate and offensive and will rightly spark mass protests.

President Isaac Herzog is directly implicated in Israel’s genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. He has made public statements, including that an “entire nation is responsible” for October 7, which have been cited by the International Court of Justice and other international bodies examining breaches of the Genocide Convention.

This should be a moment for collective mourning, reflection and care. It is not a moment to host the head of a state which has been found to have committed a genocide in Gaza.

“By inviting Herzog to visit, Albanese is using Jewish grief as a political prop and diplomatic backdrop,” said Sarah Schwartz, Executive Officer of the Jewish Council of Australia.

One of the things I'm thankful for is the medical help I'm currently getting (wasn't always the case). I had a few stressful days up at the hospital this week & have now started Immunotherapy in the drug trial I'm participating in. Maybe I'll turn a corner - who knows - but this is a good step.
