NEW RESEARCH: Heat pumps are more than twice as efficient as fossil fuel heating systems in cold temperatures, our new research shows.

Even at temperatures approaching -30C, heat pumps outperform oil and gas heating systems.

In the real world UK battery electric vehicle sales surged 72% in August, accounting for one in five of all cars sold.

Less than 1 in 25 households have solar in the UK.

In the Netherlands it’s 1 in 4.

Is solar worth it in the UK?

Yes it is and the market is picking up.

I always wondered what this car is supposed to defend you from?

If all announced clean energy manufacturing projects are realised, solar & battery manufacturing already meet the needs for 2030 to stay on track for net zero. Wind, heat pumps & electrolysers are not yet on track but are expanding rapidly.

A new Swedish company called Aira will start selling heat pumps in the UK, Germany and Italy this year for a monthly fee of around 80 Euro instead of paying an upfront installation costs.
