It's got to be said. If you own a Tesla, are shopping for a Tesla, thinking of buying a Tesla, or are even a trader in Tesla stock, you are aiding and abetting the destruction of our government, our country, and our democracy. You are also contributing to the murder of Ukrainians by Putin. And of course, you are all a defacto Putin apologist, because everything Elon Musk is doing is in support of taking down the USA and partnering with Putin for world domination. Sounds extreme, because it is.

fwiw, in my neighborhood of mostly up and comers I'm proud to say we have zero Teslas. A couple of blocks over there's a dork with a white Nazitruck. It's even uglier up close than in the pictures. Plenty of EVs and hybrids and tons of e-bikes, but people around these parts seem to know better than to go Tesla, or maybe we just can't afford them!

Fun fact: I actually met and shook J Edgar Hoover's hand back in the winter of 1972. He sat there like a toad, and as I approached in a long line of kids, it felt surreal. My hand briefly touched his outstretched mitt, and then we were off, back on the bus. He would be dead 3 or 4 months later

I've gone from hypercritical to sympathetic of #NPR lately as it seems they're displaying signs of Stockholm Syndrome and are just plain clueless? Listened to first hour this morning. Musk's name was not even mentioned til top of 2nd hour and then only 4 Twitter issues. FFS, purge at FBI, Purge at FAA (airline disaster ensues), Data theft at both Treasury and OPM, and oh yeah, Health Care data stole for the entire population and more. WTF? Don't ask NPR, heck didn't mention threat to itself?

My wife &daughter are scientists who work with/rely on NIH, and similar health care agencies. My son depends on Medicaid due to being disabled with seizure disorders and more, I'm on Social Security, and I love the Grand Canyon too. All of which is to say that we depend for our livelihoods, as well as to enjoy the amazing natural wonders which are made possible and abundant by our government working. All of this is threatened by an illegal African immigrant. This must stop!

Don't know how it escaped my awareness, but I just realized I haven't traveled outside the country since pre-Trump? I guess we went to Rocky Point a couple of times in the spring of 2016 and 2018, but that's it. No plans to go anytime soon, so I think my traveling days are pretty much done. Reminds me, you never know when it's going to be the last time.
