I think this new youngster squirrel thinks I’m his mamma. He just lurks on low hanging branches staring at me like this 😍

I put old screens across the two tables in the ground squirrel corner to try to shield the babies from predation from above but I forgot that one of those tables is a favorite little bird bathing spot. They still managed!

I had pulled a patio chair right up against the sliding door so I could sit under the eaves during the recent rain storms and this is the sight that greeted me yesterday morning. Handsome Jack,taking a snooze while waiting for me to wake up and driving my indoor kitty crazy with his audacity 🙀

OK, wrapping it up with the hawks. I didn’t feel like I had shared them thoroughly when they were here and since I’m stuck inside from the rain it seemed like a good time ☺️
