How sensible; it was upset because copying pasting the URL slaps "/start/#/" at the end instead of "/start".
Has... has any paying customer actually used this thing?

This never takes very long.
Tell me a comforting lie.
I’ll start:
“Product reviews on Amazon are a core part of why customers love shopping in our stores. Our goal is to ensure that every review in Amazon’s stores is authentic and reflects customers’ actual experiences.”
Amazon’s earnings call will be held on Halloween so they can dress up as an AI company.
“Daddy, do you know what hell is?”
“I work with AWS bills; of course I do.”
Oh bother.
Grown-ups do not conduct supply-chain attacks. However this ends, I will not be building on WordPress moving forward without a serious governance overhaul.
Elder sysadmins: share your ridiculous server naming schemes.
I'll go first: Dune.
Mailservers named after guild navigators, all-purpose utility server that changed identities all the time was "Scytale," 40 DHCP servers all named "Duncan Idaho," etc.
Oh, so that’s what happens to them.
I'm just gonna say what a lot of us have been noticing this year.
Another sneaky service deprecation that AWS couldn’t be bothered to inform customers about via blog post or RSS feed.
This is becoming a problem.
“I have a concept of a plan.”
Is the plan in the room with us now?
Honestly I’m just thrilled to watch two people talk for an hour without blathering about AI.
Was reminded today that Bonzi Buddy was derided as spyware two decades ago for doing considerably less than the telemetry in virtually every modern application.
Just now:
@mike_julian: “I’m staying in the Gaslamp district.”
Me: “It’s the Gaslight district.”
Mike: “…pretty sure it’s Gaslamp?”
Me: “You’re wrong. It’s Gaslight.”
The thing that galls me about Microsoft Recall is that it tracks everything you do on your computer, but Microsoft themselves have demonstrated in vulnerability disclosures that they clearly don’t even log what the hell is happening in the Azure control plane.
Would folks have any interest in a "how I build a talk" livetweet thread or similar the next time I put one together?
I'll trust Microsoft's AI with anything even slightly nuanced just as soon as Excel stops telling me the glass is January 2nd full.
Getting pretty tired of this being almost my entire tech news feed these days.
I hereby recant every previous criticism I've ever made of Amazon Bedrock, because this is amazing.
AWS proudly presents: "POUNDED IN THE BUTT BY THE HANDSOME AWS MANAGED NAT GATEWAY"
